She was the Childrenās Ministries Director at Peopleās Church in Salem, Oregon for seven years, and has taught child development and childrenās ministries at the college level. Verda shares insights gleaned from years of āhands onā experience in childrenās ministry. She and her husband, Roger, have four children and nine grandchildren.
